Challenging hikes with spectacular views! We had anticipated these with a year of planning. Acadia National park was a must-see that beckoned to be added to the bucket list. After a quick check-in, the plan was to drive to the top of Cadillac Mountain for the panoramic view from the highest point along the North Atlantic seaboard. The view was not to be ours, however.
